ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Andrew Flach–A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Andrew is a graduate of St. David’s School, The Browning School, and Vassar College. As the President and CEO of The Hatherleigh Company, Ltd. For the past ten years, Andrew’s role is directing the research and product development efforts of the Five Star Fitness team.

Stewart Smith–A United States Naval Academy graduate and former lieutenant in the Navy SEAL Teams, Stew is a certified personal trainer and author of two fitness books, The Complete Guide to Navy SEAL Fitness and The TV Watcher’s Workout. Stew is responsible for all live training aspects of Five Star Fitness, writing and researching new products, and overseeing the fitness retail and mail order operations.

Paul Frediani–An educator for the American Council of Exercise, Paul’s interest in fitness began when he was twelve years old, surfing the chilly waters in San Francisco. His interest in sports and fitness lead him to compete in open ocean swims, long distance running, and triathlons. He won the San Francisco Golden Gloves and the Pacific Coast Diamond Belt Light-Heavy Weight boxing Championships. Paul is certified by the American Exercise College of Sports Medicine and is a medical exercise specialist. He is affiliated with Equinox Gyms in New York City, a Fitness Advisor for Five Star Fitness, and the President of BoxAthletics.
